When your mods stop SFV from running

#1
Hey everybody. I'm in a bit of an awkward situation. I recently bought SFV on steam and I was looking through some character mods to use in the game. I used The Red Gambit's tutorial (link will be at the end if you're interested) and I followed the steps to a T. However, once I tried launching the game, it would stop the game entirely. I'm not sure what exactly could be going wrong, but any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

The video tutorial is using the ~mods folder as its installation method, so it should be as easy as dropping the pak file into ~mods folder as it's done.

1. Try verifying your SFV local files thru Steam, maybe some of them aren't downloaded correctly.
2. Make sure you put the pak file (from the mod you want) into "\Steam\SteamApps\common\StreetFighterV\StreetFighterV\Content\Paks\~mods" folder.
3. What is exactly the mod you are trying to use? Let us know, and don't forget to write the download link too (so that we can check it out).

Thanks for the reply. I did all the steps provided and turns out, all I have to do was just delete my mods from the game and reinstall them. Not sure why this was the case, but I'm just glad that it's fixed. Thank you

Btw, I was trying to use the seashell bikini mod for Chun Li by Brutal Ace (a real work of art btw). I got it running on my PC just fine now, but if you wanna try to check to see if there's something wrong with it, here's the link: https://www.deviantart.com/brutalace/art...-703938495
