Cheat Engine cease to work after 5.0.31 patch

#1
The lua script

getApplication().Title = "NotCE"
getMainForm().setCaption("NotCE")

seemed no longer work.

Before this patch today, I still can use camera mod to take mods photos.
But after this patch, it will cause memory issue if cheat engine existed.
Don't bother to reinstall or scan the game, the game work fine without cheat engine.

I had a small test.
without Lua (the window title is Cheat Engine 7.1), it will always cause memory violation and terminate the program
Now, even you execute the lua (and the title of the cheat engine became NotCE), the same memory issue occurred.
Once you turn off CE, then everything is fine.

Is there any workaround about this new issue?

After update, I had the same problem.

1) Copy/Backup the main exe file - "cheatengine-x86_64.exe"
2) Then rename the copy to something without word "cheat" like "gine-x86_64.exe"
3) Run the new CE exe with usual lua script

Everything works for me now, i hope this helps you too.

I change the cheatengine-x86_64.exe to gine-x86_64.exe
But when I execute the file, the program title remained cheat engine 7.1
Then I use the Lua to change it to NotCE

So when I run SFV, the CE is actually shows NotCE on program title already.

But still no good.

Been work for whole day for this annoying issue, still don't know why it became so hard.
