Not sure as I even haven't extracted the game files from pak files yet, also I am kind of unsure myself to explore the modding for this game as I kind of lean to SFV atm.

Yeah and for some reason UE 4.15 isn't creating those files.

Hadn't seen the new reply. Will check it out and see.

EDIT:

I'll need to do some testing in differnent scenarios to make sure my settings work, but I should have a Video tutorial with a custom Model by tomorrow.

How to install:
1/Create a folder named ~MODS inside MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE\MVCI\Content\Paks
2/Extract and copy the paks file into the ""~MODS"  folder
3/Enjoy

This mod still has many issues but Hope you guys still enjoy this mod

@Monkeygigabuster     Good job. I beleive that if you label your pak file with _P it'll load it. I haven't tested it, but I'm fairly certain what the game is looking for, is just the suffix _P.
