Pak Mod Manager (PMM)

@"defeatedsoul"
Don't see anything wrong with your pics. If the mods are not showing up in your game despite they are in the PMM list, have you tried clicking the manual sync button (located at the upper right corner of PMM window) yet? Also make sure to activate the "auto-sync" checkbox in PMM window, this will ensure that each time you launch PMM it will automatically synchronize all mods again.

Wrong thread to ask the question for that issue. Anyway, check the post below for the solution

yep. i tried both methods of syncing and nothing.

Then try these steps below:
1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to "C:\Users\-YourUserName-\AppData\Local\StreetFighterV\Saved\download" folder
2. Delete all the files there (or if you don't want to delete, just move them out to somewhere else), so now that folder is completely empty
3. Now launch the game and let it re-download the title update again, after it is finished and the game is restarted automatically, close the game
4. Now launch PMM, either of two things below will happen
5a. If you have the "auto-sync" checkbox activated, PMM will automatically perform the "synchronizing packages" on each startup. Let it finish and now you can install mods.
or
5b. If you have the "auto-sync" checkbox NOT activated, DON'T click anywhere in mod list but first you HAVE TO click the "manual sync button" to let PMM perform the "synchronizing packages", let it finish and now you can install mods.

Hey guys currently trying to get PMM to work, I read the thread about how to install and use it very carefully, my game is up to date and I tested it with some new main menu music but it isn't working did a update to the game ruin this method or is there something i'm missing.

This thread below is the one you read, right?

May I know what "main menu music mod" you are trying to test?

god i'm sorry i should have specified it's SFV-BGM-MainMenu-Solitude

I just try that mod with PMM, it works fine in my game (fully updated to latest version, which is now v5.040). But you need to pick the "Main Menu" (not the "Main Menu -Arcade Edition-") from the Custom Menu BGM list.

sorry for the late response. i was out of the loop on this *sigh* still nothing. care to remotely access my computer one day lol? could it possibly be maybe mod the files themselves? for example, here's a mod i keep trying to use.

maybe you can see if this mod works for you?

Which mod manager do you guys prefer? I'm using the Fluffy Mod Manager one and was wondering if there are other mod managers out there that are better than it.

Mod stages doesnt work but costume mod it works normally

Ive tried this process but still doesnt work.

Try these steps then:
1. Close PMM and open Windows Explorer to navigate to this folder "C:\Users\-YourUserName-\AppData\Local\StreetFighterV\Saved\download", delete the "dlc.manifest" file there.
2. Launch the game and it will redownload the original dlc.manifest file again.
3. Close the game and now open PMM, it should do the "synchronizing package" (each time at launch if you have the "auto-sync on startup" option checkbox enabled) or if you don't use the "auto-sync on startup", make sure to not click anything in PMM mod list (VERY IMPORTANT) but click the sync button first (the third button of upper right corner).

Ok, I re-installed the game and PWM... now its work Big Grin

Thanks

(08-31-2017, 03:59 PM)since Rose is now on the roster do you half to download a new version of PMM if so is there a link for the new version? Wrote: NOTE: original post by Frosthaven.
EXTRA: to change where PMM saves mod, click here for more info.

On the suggestion of Brutal, I've cross posted this here from reddit (original thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/StreetFighterMo...vsteampc/). Full description and changelog can be found at the provided link.

IMPORTANT! Before you install the beta, you will need to change a few things if you've used earlier versions or other methods to enable pak mods. Also remember, beta is beta. It worked on all the rigs I've set it up with, but I'm relying on you guys to yell at me if something fails!
  • Take the ~mods folder OUT of your StreetFighterV directory (we don't want any pak files loading from there anymore)
  • If you have a _Steam.pak file in your StreetFighterV's Contents/Paks folder, take it out.
  • You need a clean, unmodified download folder. Go to %localappdata%\StreetFighterV\Saved\download and delete everything but the steam pak files. Run the game and let it generate a clean dlc.manifest
  • If you are using a pmm version < 2.0 you will need to uninstall it
OK, now that you have done all that, here you go:

Download: http://cdn.fortiscoregaming.com/frosthav...02.2.9.exe (official link) --> it's better to download the latest version below

Latest version (v2.2.11): https://mega.nz/#!wZJGCQqZ!oajiyPmmWXrPp...OCtGZ1TMcw (re-upload)

@"Awesome198One"
The current PMM v2.2.11 still works fine with any updates (including Dan and/or Rose).
